Customer service point for power charging points
If you have problems with an electric vehicle charging point, you will find us at +34 871 872 100 (24/7).
U Energia has the infrastructure required to deploy a network of charging stations for electric vehicles on a national scale, as well as a management platform to monitor and control them and to subsequently invoice charging that has taken place. Furthermore, we have a Control Centre that is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist you with any incidents or questions that may arise at your points.
Charging point types
Charging points can currently be divided into four different categories:
- Normal charge: Up to 7 kW.
- Semi-fast charge: Around 22 kW.
- Fast charge: From 50 kW.
- Super-fast charge: From 120 kW.
In locations with low vehicle rotation and where time isn’t an issue, we recommend using normal charging stations (7 kW) because they are the lowest-cost solution, both in terms of acquisition and maintenance. For electric cars with 40 kWh batteries, normal charging stations can re-charge a battery by 80% within 4 to 5 hours.
A semi-fast 22 kW charging point in the same conditions offers 80% charge within a period of 1-2 hours.
Our services
U Energia offers you access to charging stations for your electric vehicles, providing you with all our knowledge and expertise.
We offer two types of product:
1. Bargain charging point
In this type of product, the charging points installed are the property of U Energia, who complies with all the applicable regulations, meaning there are no acquisition costs. We take care of activating them, maintenance, customer support and managing any service issues that may occur.
Our 24/7 Customer Support Centre will ensure that all your questions are answered and that any problems that may arise are resolved. If an incident cannot be taken care of remotely, a specialised technician will come on-site to implement a solution. In order to offer all of these services at no cost to you, the charging stations’ electricity supply must be sold by U energia.
U energia does not install the wiring necessary to power the charging points, although our team of technicians can give you a free quotation for this. However, we offer consulting services regarding all procedures, depending on the number and type of points to be deployed. We place our vast knowledge of charging stations at your service.
2. Associated charging point
Type of product in which U energia sells the charging point and the customer, who must be subscribed to a U energia electricity supply contract, is the one who pays for the installation. For all purposes, the owner of the charging point is the customer. You can pay in instalments for up to 12 months without interest.
If it is in your interest, we offer you the chance to have the point remote-managed with access to a portal where you can view all the details of on your charging operations. The cost of this service is free, while the electricity contract with U energia associated with the charging point is in effect. Otherwise, the price is €15/month.
We take care of the installation, assembly and compliance with the applicable regulations.
Customer services and fault management is provided by U energia, a service that can be contracted monthly or paid for operation by operation.
